Happy Birthday Luna!

Today marks Luna’s official birthday.  She turns six years old either today or sometime near today.

I arrived back in San Francisco last night, just in time to celebrate with her, although not at home.  There is (once again) construction at CatSynth HQ, so Luna is staying at her boarding facility until it’s over.  I know she will not only be safe there, but she will be doted on and receive lots of love and attention.  When I went to visit her today, she came over to greet me, but then immediately settled down to nap.  But I was able to get some “relaxed” birthday photos.

Please join me in wishing Luna a happy birthday!  And thanks to everyone who has already left her comments.

Weekend Cat Blogging #233: Away

While I am away in New York this week, Luna is back at her deluxe boarding facility. She seemed to adjust relatively quickly after reacquainting herself with the place:

Of course, she quickly found her little alcove where she can peer out.

It’s always a little bittersweet to drop her off, but I know she will be well cared for.  And I have a sense this trip to New York will be good.   I expect to post some art and music reviews as time permits.

Meanwhile Weekend Cat Blogging #233 is being hosted by Samantha at Life from a Cat’s perspective. We still hope that Mr. Tigger comes home.

The Carnival of the Cats returns this Sunday to Pet’s Garden Blog.

And of course Friday Ark is at the modulator.

Midnight Monday: Luna away from home

Here are some photos of Luna at her home away from home:

She is actually doing well, comfortable and confident, and even greeting the other cats. She seems to particularly enjoy wandering the long corridors.

And her quarters of quite comfy, which lots of places to climb and play, and indulge her fondness for soft things:

It looks like Luna will have to stay away for a bit longer, as the construction at CatSynth HQ stretches out. I’m glad she’s doing well, but it would be better to have her home again.
