As our friends back in New York endure yet another nasty winter storm, I look back fondly on my most recent trip in late November. The leaves and the colors of the rusty metal all say “autumn.”
Looks messy, but at least some street work is done ! Which would be very necessary here too.
The man on my WW is my son with grandson. He carries him around like an African mother working on a field !
Hopefully they have finished! Here we have had street construction going on since last Spring! Great pic though, and I too appreciate the Autumn colours Happy WW
You are a great photographer – ordinarily, this scene would look bad if you walked passed it – but the way the colors blend along with the fall leaves in this pic – you did a great job.

Looks like some heavy labor was about to happen. I hope they got it finished before the snowstorms.

Great shot of the real deal of gritty work!

Is there ever a time in New York when construction supplies are not piled up around every corner?

Amazing shot! You managed to tell a full and rich story with your composition and the rich but muted (autumn) colour management is amazing.

I love how the metal put on its very best rust to coordinate with the leaves! And I love how the leaves approved and mingled! Nice shot!
