This is the continuation of the demolition of the Transbay Terminal in San Francisco. This was the final bit of the elevated roadway leading up to the building itself. Here we see only the steel support structure remaining before it, too, was torn down.
The first word that comes to mind is skeletal, and I guess that is what the demolition process has done. Great pic, and I agree very creative! Happy WW

You can read an extended post about the Transbay Terminal demolition here.
The open steel patterns made for some fantastic photos. The best ones will appear in the future

You still found something interesting to photograph even in the midst of demolition! I look forward to seeing the new building someday.

Constructing or de-constructing, buildings look quite interesting!!
That is a good shot.
Were you really able to get that close or is it a long lens?

Like this picture. It’s sad that the structure will come down. What are they going to do with all that steel?

As an add-on to Kitty’s sentiment, I am hopeful that they’re re-purposing the materials! Surely in San Francisco?….
