Looks rather like large rectangular stepping stones
They are in fact large rectangular stepping stones. This was taken in Jessie Square, the plaza in front of the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco.
Beautiful.
v zen and elegant.
I don’t have an eye for contemporary art. Maybe I’m just old fashioned. I think I saw this place in a movie recently, or some place similar.
I like this interpretation of the crosswalk. Not an ordinary journey there, I’d say. Beautiful photo.
beautiful perspective!
I would like to skip and hop around on the stepping stones!
What a beautiful shot. I love the perspective.
I always enjoy your urban landscapes. It’s easy to see the beauty in a mountain or flower, but harder to see the beauty in stone and steel.
Very interesting photograph. I love the clean lines.
I agree with the comments about stepping stones…it’s like an elevated crosswalk/stepping stones. Great perspective.
Great perspective!
What an interesting blog concept: cats, synths, photography!
Interesting!
Nice pic. The stepping stones give me the impression that they are the only way to get to the other side.
I love your idea for the arty shot. Purrs to Luna – and you of course.
Interesting pathway. I like the lined pattern it creates.
I love this! I love the geometry of it and the balance. Great shot!
