“Fishpants is about a year old in this picture. She has decided that living in my studio is a good idea.”
We at CatSynth agree.

Fishpants? There has to either be a good story behind the name or a fizzled brain behind the name or a fishy kitty behind the name!

We totally agree with Fishpants!!
cats usually do all the deciding anyway
We are also curious (it’s a cat thing) as to the reason
for the name Fishpants!!

Fishpants? Do tell how she got that name, please! And what is that fearsome thing with all the dails?

The sequencer is a version of the DIY 16-step version designed by Ray Wilson of Music from Outer Space.
My wife is the kind of person who does lots of little craft projects. For a while she was making small fleece cats. She had some materila with some sort of fish design on it, and used it for one of the cat’s “pants”. Somehow this came up in conversation, and the phrase rang a bell with me, and I mentioned that Fishpants would be a really good name for a cat when/if I still remembered it the next time it came to naming one. So about a week later she brought home a kitten, and said “I think you already have a name for this one”.
