These sculptures were at Brooktree Gardens in coastal South Carolina. The area is known locally as the Lowcountry.
Most of the work is figurative, which not really my focus artistically, although they did have many pieces featuring animals as well as human figures. The two sculptures pictured here combined female figures with abstract shapes and caught my interest. The second is St. James Triad by Richard McDermott Miller. I unfortunately do not have the title for the first one.
We really like these pics too!!
The 1st one the best
We also loved Nora the piano cat!!!!
In addition to her talent, she has a lovely face!!

Nice sculptures. The 2nd picture looks like they’re trying to climb through the window – to escape from something?

Both have very pleasing forms. I like how the rocks stack up that way in the fountain!

They’re wonderful… and I can certainly see why they caught your attention. Any chance of any more? I’m intrigued about the other pieces…

Very interesting! I’ve never been to coastal South Carolina, so I’ve never seen these.

I find both pieces interesting. For the photos I like the color on #1 and the comp on #2.
