Taber Place is one of many narrow alleys that cross the otherwise large city blocks in South of Market (SOMA), San Francisco. These narrow side streets also have some of the old Victorian buildings and row houses that were once common in this neighborhood.

Also, for San Francisco, this area is rather flat and straight-lined, which gives for interesting perspectives (also visible in many of my other SOMA photos).

I've always wanted to visit San Francisco. Perhaps we'll be able to go next time we visit the US. This photo is great because it looks so sunny. Check out the blue sky!
